The Denmark Before and After School Program is a program that offers children aged 4-13 a safe place before and after school where they will be in an enriched and caring environment to carry out & fulfill homework assignments and enjoy age appropriate activities to keep them physically and mentally stimulated.
The Denmark Before and After School Program is a state of WI licensed school age care program. The program is located in an upper classroom and the lower level of the ECC – Early Childhood Center in Denmark. The program is licensed for 80 children between the ages of 4-13.
All staff members are certified in child care AND in CPR/First Aid.
Children will have an opportunity to do their homework and socialize with other children they may not have otherwise had a chance to. There will be a lesson plan that is based on the kid’s thoughts and opinions. Each child, depending on age, will have the opportunity to either work with an older student in the program or with a middle or high school student that will volunteer to help tutor or just to work with individual children or groups.
During the Summer, the program has a lot of fun, age appropriate engaging activities for children where they can explore, create and use their imagination to the fullest. They will have experiments, cooking projects, reading and writing, Spanish, small and large muscle motor activities to keep them stimulated and their minds engaged all summer long.
